A History of Innovation and Support
TRUX Route Managment Systems Inc. was established in 1989 with the launch of specialized information and operational management software developed specifically for the waste industry. Following ten years as MIS Manager for a major waste company, Rob Bloomfield identified the need for a PC based system that could meet the needs of small to mid-size haulers. Teaming with Allen Ische, who brought extensive computer industry sales experience, the partners introduced the first DOS version of TRUX Route Management Software. From the head office in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, TRUX grew as the system gained wide acceptance with industry leaders throughout Canada and the United States. Today, we are still dedicated to the waste industry. Our clients range from small, independent haulers to some of the largest waste management corporations in North America.
A commitment to maintaining leading-edge service and support brought about the complete redevelopment and launch, in 1998, of two Windows-based products. TRUX Haul-IT for routing and dispatch and TRUX Weigh-IT for scale and facility management set new standards for information management systems in the industry. With the recent introduction of TRUX Map-IT, clients can seamlessly integrate geo-coded client and routing information into TRUX Haul-IT for full-featured mapping capabilities and display. And we haven't stopped there. With the recent release of TRUX Recycle-IT, we're bringing the same powerful, user-friendly information and operation tools to the specialized recycling industry.
All members of the TRUX team remain committed to the ongoing development of products, services and training that exceed the expectations of our clients and the waste industry. After all, our best technology goes to waste.
