TRUX Gives Back to the Community
Each year, TRUX, and the TRUX staff, donate to local charities to help give back to our community. We try to share what we can with people who have been less fortunate than us. We decided this year to share the names of some of the charities we support, and hopefully encourage others to help donate to these worthy causes.

2009 TRUX Charity Drive
On top of the corporate donations made by TRUX, the TRUX Staff collected money this holiday season to sponsor families in the Family & Children's Services Adopt-a-Family campaign. The following description is from their website:
"It's hard to imagine that during the holiday season some families don't have gifts under their tree or food on their table. You can share the festive spirit this holiday season with a family in need by participating in the ADOPT A FAMILY Holiday Program. This program helps families enjoy the holiday season knowing their community believes in the spirit of giving. Make your holiday season complete by adopting a family today!"
The Spirit of Giving
We started out hoping to raise enough funds to sponsor one family. But, the amazing generosity and overwhelming response of TRUX staff members, helped us raise over $1000 in a single week!!
The amount we raised gave us enough money to adopt TWO families with additional grocery cards AND make a healthy contribution to their Emergency Santa Fund (for unadopted families, or last minute emergency drop-ins).
We love the work that Family & Children's Services does for the children in our community and we are honored to be a small part of the miracles they provide during the Holiday Season.
