Our Best Technology Goes to Waste

Setting the Standard for Waste Management Software

TRUX Route Management Systems Inc. was established in 1990 with the launch of specialized information and operational management software developed specifically for the waste industry. Following eight years as MIS Manager for a major waste company, Rob Bloomfield recognized the potential for increasingly more powerful PC based systems to meet the needs of waste haulers. Thus TRUX was conceived and developed. Teaming with Allen Ische, who brought extensive computer industry sales experience, the partners introduced the initial version of TRUX Route Management System. From the head office in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, TRUX grew as the system gained wide acceptance with industry leaders throughout Canada and the United States. Today our dedication to the waste industry is as strong as ever. Our clients range from small, independent haulers to some of the largest waste management corporations in North America.

A commitment to maintaining leading-edge service and support brought about the complete redevelopment and launch, in 1998, of two Windows-based products. TRUX Haul-IT for routing and dispatch and TRUX Weigh-IT for scale and facility management, set new standards for information management systems in the industry. Next, we added integration with mapping technology so our clients could seamlessly access full-featured mapping capabilities from our hauling application. And we didn't stop there. We redesigned Haul-IT and Weigh-IT to take advantage of the latest operating systems and database software. Our applications were recreated using the .NET programming platform and Microsoft SQL Server to provide improved performance, security and data integrity. Now, with the recent release of TRUX Maintain-IT, we're bringing the same powerful, user-friendly tools and integration to asset maintenance for the waste industry.

TRUX remains committed to the ongoing development of products, services and training that exceed the expectations of our clients and the waste industry. After all, our best technology goes to waste.
